Project Type

UI/UX Case Study

Duration

11 Weeks | Jan - March 2023

Tools Used

My Role

  • Structured user journey for a responsive multimedia application using Figma and Axure.

  • Carried out wireframing, prototyping and user testing to enhance accessibility.

  • Took charge of both user experience and visual design elements throughout the project.

  • Proposed marketing and monetizing strategies for the application.

My Takeaways

  • The main challenge was to create not a separate application for a mobile device but to create a responsive website that seamlessly adapts according to device used.

  • The project helped me understand the rights and wrongs of using a unique color scheme.

  • If I there were no time constraints, I would work on improving the information architecture for mobile screens.

User Goals

  1. Exploring on a set budget.

  2. Making new connections.

  3. Getting used to the local lingo.

Pain Points

  1. Difficulty finding all information in one place

  2. Smooth navigation

  3. Ease of accessibility

Proposed Solution

  1. Offers primary features in one place

  2. Minimal and intuitive interface

  3. Supports simple navigation
